Work Experience

IT Consultant

I worked as an IT Consultant for UCI's Office of Information Technology. During my time at OIT, I diagnosed and serviced computer hardware, software, and network problems of the entire UCI Campus. These included network blocks, repairing campus Ethernet ports, and cable signal diagnostics. I have always resolved issues within our benchmark service time targets, ranging from five minutes to three days. From the time I have spent working at OIT, I have become experienced in business-grade application services such as ServiceNow and Bomgar Remote Assistance.

SmartHear Application Intern

I worked at Academia Sinica as a SmartHear Application Intern. Academia Sinica is the National Academy of Taiwan, located in Nangang District, Taipei. During my time at Academia Sinica I developed a tutorial video for the SmartHear App using PowerPoint and self-made, audio recordings. The UI of the application was re-designed iteratively and many mockups/prototypes were created for testing purposes. A great deal of my work at Academia Sinica involved gathering system requirements as well as applying user testing practices. These user testing practices include surveys as well as interviews with the locals in the area. This application is available on the Google Play Store as "SmartHear"

Below, you can download and the view the research paper about SmartHear.
